Rules

The /promo promo board is a public leaderboard with exactly two slots. You pay in USD to display your link and pitch. Rank is what you pay — nothing else. These Rules form part of the Terms of Service.

The board

  • Slot #1 — highest bidder on the board.
  • Slot #2 — second-highest bidder. Empty slots can be claimed from $5.

How ranking works

  • Bids are whole US dollars only, $5 minimum, $999,999 maximum.
  • To take #1, pay at least $5 more than the current #1 holder.
  • To take #2, pay at least $1 more than the current #2 holder (or $5 if the slot is empty).
  • Already holding a slot with the same URL or @handle? Re-bid to raise your amount — checkout charges only the difference. Someone else cannot top-up your listing.
  • Equal amounts keep the order they were placed — the older listing keeps the higher rank.

Who can bid

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
  • You must own the destination you list, or be authorised to promote it. Listed businesses must show valid, verifiable company details on their own site.
  • Payments may be unavailable in some regions. Local law is your responsibility.

What you can list

  • A product website, or an X @handle.
  • Chat and invite links are not allowed — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar.
  • Links to sexual or adult content are not allowed.
  • Malware, phishing, scams, deceptive destinations, and anything unlawful are not allowed, and are removed without refund.
  • Query parameters are stripped from listing links. Affiliate and tracking URLs will not work.
  • Link shorteners are not allowed. Submit the final destination URL.
  • Your pitch must be accurate. No fake claims, fake counts, impersonation, or implying that calculateeveryday.com endorses you.

After you pay

  • Your listing is public. It appears on /promo, beside calculator pages, and inside embedded calculators on other sites — see the Advertising Policy.
  • Clicks go through our /go/ redirect with rel="nofollow sponsored", without your query parameters. We count clicks in aggregate per slot; we do not profile the people who click.
  • A completed payment is what claims the slot, confirmed by webhook — not by the browser redirect. See Digital Delivery.
  • Payments are not refundable once your listing is live, except for failed concurrent bids and our own prolonged outages — see the Refund Policy.
  • Prices are in USD. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record and handles applicable taxes — see the Payment Disclosure.
  • Paying means you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Our discretion

We may refuse or remove any listing, and refuse future bids, if it breaks these Rules or the law, or if it would put our payment processing at risk. Removal for a rule violation carries no refund. To report a live listing, email hello@calculateeveryday.com with the slot rank and URL.
