The /promo sponsor page has exactly 16 slots, priced at $10/day with an automatic volume discount — the more days you book, the cheaper each day gets. You pay in USD to display your link and pitch for the number of days you choose — whoever pays first for an open slot gets it. There is no bidding and no ranking by amount. These Rules form part of the Terms of Service.

The slots

  • 16 slots total. On wide screens, 4 show in the left rail and 4 in the right at any moment; once more than 8 are booked, the rails rotate through every active booking every few seconds, so each sponsor gets an equal share of screen time. On narrower screens every active booking appears in a bar at the bottom of the page.
  • A slot is just wherever a booking currently packs among today's active bookings — it isn't a numbered position permanently assigned to anyone.

How booking works

  • $10/day base rate, with a volume discount: each additional day is 1% cheaper than the one before it, compounding — so the total is never simply days × $10. This is self-limiting: it never exceeds $1,000 total no matter how many days you book. A few worked examples: 7 days = $67.93 (3% off), 30 days = $260.30 (13% off), 90 days = $594.90 (34% off), 365 days = $974.48 (73% off). Your checkout shows the exact price for the days you pick before you pay, whole days only, 1 day minimum.
  • First come, first served — there is no bidding and no way to outbid an existing booking.
  • Your booking runs for exactly the days you paid for, then ends automatically and the slot opens back up for the next buyer.
  • If a slot is open today, your booking starts today. If all 16 are booked, you can still pay upfront to reserve the next one to open up — checkout shows you the exact date it starts before you pay.
  • When any booking ends, the remaining active bookings simply pack up to fill the gap — there is no separate reshuffle step and nothing is reassigned; a booking that was on the right rail can end up on the left as earlier ones expire.
  • Past and current bookings stay public forever on the sponsor history page.

What happens when a slot fills up

  • Nothing about your booking changes because someone else pays. Your booking already runs for the days you paid for, guaranteed — no one can bid you out of it early.
  • There is no eviction and no refund mechanism, because nothing is ever taken back — see the Refund Policy.

Who can book

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
  • You must own the destination you list, or be authorised to promote it. Listed businesses must show valid, verifiable company details on their own site.
  • Payments may be unavailable in some regions. Local law is your responsibility.

What you can list

  • A product website, or an X @handle.
  • Chat and invite links are not allowed — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar.
  • Links to sexual or adult content are not allowed.
  • Malware, phishing, scams, deceptive destinations, and anything unlawful are not allowed, and are removed without refund.
  • Query parameters are stripped from listing links. Affiliate and tracking URLs will not work.
  • Link shorteners are not allowed. Submit the final destination URL.
  • Your pitch must be accurate. No fake claims, fake counts, impersonation, or implying that calculateeveryday.com endorses you.

After you book

  • Your listing is public for the days you booked. It appears on /promo and in the left/right rail beside calculator pages — never inside embedded calculators on other sites — see the Advertising Policy.
  • Clicks go through our /go/ redirect with rel="nofollow sponsored", without your query parameters. We count clicks in aggregate per booking; we do not profile the people who click.
  • A completed payment is what creates your booking, confirmed by webhook — not by the browser redirect. See Digital Delivery.
  • Payments are not refundable — see the Refund Policy.
  • Prices are in USD. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record and handles applicable taxes — see the Payment Disclosure.
  • Booking means you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Our discretion

We may refuse or remove any listing, and refuse future bookings, if it breaks these Rules or the law, or if it would put our payment processing at risk. Removal for a rule violation carries no refund. Past bookings are listed on the sponsor history page. To report a live listing, email hello@calculateeveryday.com with the booking and URL.
