Every calculation on CalculateEveryday is reviewed by Suman Kumar, a software engineer with 8 years of experience, before publication.

How a calculator gets published

• The formula is checked against a primary source (a regulator's published rules, a standard reference, or a textbook derivation) — not against another calculator website.
• Every calculator ships with a worked example using a realistic number, an explicit list of edge cases where the result can mislead, and answers to the mistakes people actually make with that calculation.
• Money is handled in integer paise internally to avoid floating-point rounding errors in displayed figures.

What we don't do

We don't publish fabricated reviews or testimonials, and we don't mark up our own "was this helpful" votes as a product rating — both because it would be dishonest, and because self-serving review markup is explicitly against search engines' guidelines.

Advertising does not touch editorial

Paid promo slots are labelled, separated from results, and buy placement only. An advertiser cannot commission a calculator, change a formula, influence a ranking, or review a page before publication. See the Advertising Policy.

Corrections

If you find an error in a formula, an edge case we missed, or an outdated tax-year figure, use the "Was this helpful?" control on the calculator or email hello@calculateeveryday.com. Corrections are made promptly and we don't quietly edit a published figure without noting what changed on request.
