Refund Policy

Sponsor payments

Payments on /promo book one of 16 sponsor slots for the number of days you paid for, at $10/day with a volume discount for longer bookings (see Rules), first come first served. They are processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record.

All bookings are final

Sponsor payments are non-refundable. This includes when:

  • Your booking simply reaches its end date and the slot opens back up.
  • We remove your listing for violating our Rules or Terms.
  • You change your mind or paid by mistake after your listing is active.
  • The site has an outage or downtime during your booking.

This is simpler than it sounds: nothing you pay for is ever taken back or displaced early. Your booking runs for exactly the days you paid for, and only a policy violation ends it sooner.

Embed plan

The embed plan ($5/month) is billed monthly in advance through Dodo Payments. Cancel any time from your dashboard ("Manage billing"): cancelling stops the next charge, the plan keeps working until the end of the month you have paid for, and then it ends and the watermark comes back on that embed. If you choose "Cancel now" in the billing portal instead, the plan ends straight away and the rest of that month is not refunded.

We don't refund part of a month — including when you cancel partway through it, stop using the embed, or move it to a site the plan doesn't cover. If you were charged after cancelling, or twice for the same month, we refund the extra charge.

Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback after receiving the placement or plan you paid for may result in a permanent ban. Contact hello@calculateeveryday.com first — we resolve most issues faster than a dispute.

How to request a refund

If a payment failed to register at all — you were charged but no booking or plan appeared within a few minutes — or an embed plan charged you after you cancelled it, email hello@calculateeveryday.com from the address you used at checkout, with the amount and the approximate time of payment. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Dodo Payments, typically within 5–10 business days.

Statutory rights

This policy does not limit any refund or cancellation right you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.
